Salmo 79<\/a><\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Estamos acostumbrados a mirar hacia la temporada de Adviento con expectaci\u00f3n, preparaci\u00f3n gozosa y envoltorios de colores brillantes que esconden maravillosas sorpresas. Pero en el Salmo 79 nuestras expectativas se hacen a\u00f1icos y nuestro gozo se convierte en duelo. La realidad descrita aqu\u00ed no es una sorpresa maravillosa, sino una destrucci\u00f3n horrible del espacio sagrado de Dios. \u00bfQue esta pasando aqui?<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

El Salmo 79 es un salmo de lamento por la destrucci\u00f3n del Templo. Este evento amenaz\u00f3 la existencia misma del pueblo de Dios y se convirti\u00f3 en su introducci\u00f3n a una fase de su vida que conocemos como el exilio.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

El evento que amenaz\u00f3 con deshacer al pueblo de Dios no es algo que esperar\u00edamos que condujera al tiempo de Adviento. Leemos en nuestro texto palabras de invasi\u00f3n, escombros, muertos apilados como alimento para los p\u00e1jaros y sangre derramada como agua. Estas im\u00e1genes nos parecen tan contempor\u00e1neas.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Mi atenci\u00f3n, este advenimiento, parece atra\u00edda por estas palabras del salmista. Estos vers\u00edculos iniciales se leen como palabras de nuestro ciclo diario de noticias. La destrucci\u00f3n desenfrenada, las formas en que parece que no hay flaqueza en el apetito de muerte. Yo tambi\u00e9n quiero hacer la pregunta: \u00bfHasta cu\u00e1ndo, Se\u00f1or? Y aunque nuestra atenci\u00f3n podr\u00eda distraerse por el resplandor de los acontecimientos actuales debido a la guerra en Ucrania, la guerra en Israel y Gaza, o una enfermedad personal o familiar inesperada, en este salmo se nos llama a mirar hacia una luz diferente.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Note la transici\u00f3n de este Salmo de una invasi\u00f3n, muerte y desprecio por parte de los vecinos de los vers\u00edculos 1-4, a preguntarse \u201c\u00bfd\u00f3nde est\u00e1 Dios en toda esta destrucci\u00f3n\u201d del vers\u00edculo 5 a una preocupaci\u00f3n crucial por el arrepentimiento y el perd\u00f3n del vers\u00edculo 8. pasar al gran reconocimiento de que estamos en una necesidad desesperada; \u00a1Ay\u00fadanos, Dios nuestro salvador!<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Aqu\u00ed, en medio del caos y el quebrantamiento, es donde encontramos la esperanza del Adviento. En medio de nuestra destrucci\u00f3n, Dios es nuestro gran salvador. Cuando todo lo que podemos ver es un panorama de la muerte, este salmo de lamento mira m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los escombros para vislumbrar al redentor venidero.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

El Adviento no nos pide que pretendamos que la muerte y la destrucci\u00f3n no existen, sino que nos pide que miremos a Aquel que trae liberaci\u00f3n y perd\u00f3n. Emmanuel entra en nuestro caos, nos levanta de los escombros y nos permite alabarle por siempre.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
