9\u00a0<\/sup>Esconde tu rostro de mis pecados
y borra toda mi iniquidad.
10\u00a0<\/sup>Crea en m\u00ed, oh Dios, un coraz\u00f3n puro,
y renueva un esp\u00edritu recto dentro de m\u00ed.
11\u00a0<\/sup>No me eches de tu presencia
o quita de m\u00ed tu Esp\u00edritu Santo.

La Cuaresma es una temporada en el calendario cristiano que conduce a la Pascua. La Cuaresma dura 40 d\u00edas porque Jes\u00fas fue tentado en el desierto durante 40 d\u00edas antes de su ministerio p\u00fablico. Los israelitas, debido a su desobediencia y rebeli\u00f3n, tuvieron que vagar durante 40 a\u00f1os por el desierto antes de llegar a la tierra prometida. Mois\u00e9s pas\u00f3 40 d\u00edas en el Monte Sina\u00ed en contacto con Dios para recibir los Diez Mandamientos. En la Biblia, el n\u00famero 40 se utiliza a menudo para indicar un per\u00edodo de preparaci\u00f3n y prueba.<\/p>

En el desierto, nada est\u00e1 oculto. Estamos expuestos a Dios. No tenemos nuestras comodidades materiales. Estamos separados de las distracciones cotidianas comunes. Finalmente regresaremos a nuestras vidas cuando se complete el tiempo de preparaci\u00f3n. Centramos nuestra pasi\u00f3n en Dios mientras \u00c9l nos refina para cumplir con su llamado.<\/p>

Enfrentamos nuestros propios desaf\u00edos para acercarnos a Dios. Mientras nos preparamos para la celebraci\u00f3n de la Pascua, debemos reconocer nuestro pecado. Debemos abrir nuestra conciencia a todo lo que nos separa de Dios. Debemos examinar todos los aspectos de nuestra vida para asegurarnos de que no le estamos ocultando nada.<\/p>

Es importante porque todos hemos pecado. Todos necesitamos el perd\u00f3n, la sanaci\u00f3n y la redenci\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas. Confesamos nuestras transgresiones y buscamos su misericordia.<\/p>

Oramos. Nos dirigimos a nuestro Padre Celestial. Hacemos peticiones. Intercedemos. Lo reconocemos como la fuente de gracia que nos da vida. \u00c9l es el Dios que est\u00e1 \u201ccon nosotros\u201d por su nacimiento en Bel\u00e9n, el milagro de la cruz y la presencia del Esp\u00edritu Santo.<\/p>

Oramos, pero \u00bfconfesamos nuestros pecados? \u00bfSomos honestos con nosotros mismos y con Dios en cuanto a que nuestras palabras y acciones no est\u00e1n a la altura de Su gloria? \u00bfPara qu\u00e9 nos est\u00e1 preparando?<\/p>

Durante los pr\u00f3ximos 40 d\u00edas, reflexionemos, como comunidad de fe, sobre el amor de Dios y la victoria de la cruz. Es importante.<\/p>
