Trabajo 1:1-22<\/strong><\/p>

Entonces Job se levant\u00f3, y rasg\u00f3 su manto, y rasur\u00f3 su cabeza, y postr\u00e1ndose en tierra, ador\u00f3.<\/em> \u00a0(Job 1:20 NVI)<\/p>

Esta es una de mis escenas favoritas de las Escrituras. Job hab\u00eda sufrido una p\u00e9rdida devastadora: la p\u00e9rdida de sus hijos, su abundante riqueza, sus sirvientes, y m\u00e1s tarde perder\u00eda la salud. Pero la belleza de este cap\u00edtulo reside en lo que sucede aqu\u00ed mismo: Puedo imaginar a este hombre, Job, en mi mente. Su mente y sus emociones estaban a punto de tambalearse. La devastaci\u00f3n era total: sus reba\u00f1os, sus camellos, sus burros, sus sirvientes y ahora sus hijos... cada uno de ellos. Se sent\u00eda destrozado y desamparado, excepto por una cosa: Dios. Los ni\u00f1os ya estaban enterrados en una ladera ventosa. Temblando de conmoci\u00f3n y dolor, se dirigi\u00f3 a las tumbas. Su dolor era total, excepto por Dios. Contempl\u00f3 la tierra marr\u00f3n reci\u00e9n removida donde acababan de enterrar a sus hijos, y se desplom\u00f3 sobre sus tumbas. Pero \u00bfqu\u00e9 sal\u00eda de su boca? \u00bfSer\u00eda posible? \u00bfPodr\u00eda ser? \u00bfRabia, amargura o acusaciones? \u00a1No! La adoraci\u00f3n se derrama y la confianza se debe a que \u00e9l reconoce una verdad b\u00e1sica: Dios.\u00a0<\/p>

En el siguiente cap\u00edtulo (v. 10), Job le explica a su esposa, quien tambi\u00e9n debi\u00f3 estar en estado de shock: "\u00bfAceptaremos de Dios el bien, y no aceptaremos el mal?". Luego se nos dice que, en todo esto, Job no pec\u00f3 con sus labios. Su adoraci\u00f3n, confianza y enfoque permanecieron firmes en este Dios fiel que, hasta ese momento, hab\u00eda suplido cada necesidad y sin duda los sostendr\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de todo este dolor.<\/p>

La mayor\u00eda de nosotros hemos sufrido p\u00e9rdidas o alguna devastaci\u00f3n en alg\u00fan momento de nuestra vida. \u00bfQu\u00e9 hacemos con ello? \u00bfAd\u00f3nde acudimos en busca de alivio? Job ten\u00eda la respuesta porque ten\u00eda puntos de referencia que pod\u00eda recordar: \u00abDios me ha encontrado all\u00ed. Por lo tanto, me encontrar\u00e1 aqu\u00ed\u00bb. El secreto es la adoraci\u00f3n. \u00c9l te ha encontrado en el pasado, te encontrar\u00e1 hoy y estar\u00e1 all\u00ed para encontrarte en los d\u00edas venideros. Dios lo hizo por Job y lo har\u00e1 por ti.<\/p>
