Por eso, nos pide, cuatro vers\u00edculos despu\u00e9s, que recordemos <em>que la bondad de Dios tiene como objetivo llevarte al arrepentimiento<\/em> (v. 4) La Cuaresma es un tiempo dise\u00f1ado para ayudarnos a caminar en arrepentimiento.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>El arrepentimiento no es un paseo f\u00e1cil por el parque. Requiere <em>honestidad del alma<\/em>El arrepentimiento nos invita a una profunda reflexi\u00f3n sobre nosotros mismos, en lugar de una superficial mirada a los dem\u00e1s. No se trata de un arrepentimiento como humillaci\u00f3n aplastante, sino como una apertura del coraz\u00f3n, sin ego\u00edsmo, al amor divino. Es reconocer que el Dios que nos llama al arrepentimiento viene a nosotros en Jesucristo con perd\u00f3n y renovaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Quiz\u00e1s durante esta Cuaresma te sientas desanimado. Quiz\u00e1s te digas: \u00abHe hecho ejercicio tras ejercicio, pero me despierto cada d\u00eda con el mismo h\u00e1bito de juzgar. \u00bfC\u00f3mo puedo salir de esta situaci\u00f3n?\u00bb. Pablo nos dice en el vers\u00edculo siete que hay un camino\u2026 es el camino de la perseverancia: una perseverancia anclada en la bondad de Dios que viene a nosotros en Jes\u00fas. \u00c9l nos gu\u00eda al arrepentimiento, no para aplastarnos, sino para transformarnos. Es el arrepentimiento como disciplina espiritual, cimentado en la gracia y no en el juicio. Es un arrepentimiento ligado al car\u00e1cter de Dios en Cristo.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Si nuestro arrepentimiento carece de esta conexi\u00f3n esencial con la gracia de Dios, degenerar\u00e1 en autodesprecio, un esp\u00edritu cr\u00edtico y carecer\u00e1 de la conexi\u00f3n para brindar gracia en medio de nuestras luchas diarias. Pablo comprendi\u00f3 la necesidad y la realidad de esta conexi\u00f3n; nuestro arrepentimiento, desprovisto del Esp\u00edritu de Jes\u00fas, es simplemente un ejercicio in\u00fatil. Pero el arrepentimiento arraigado en la gracia de Dios en Cristo es vivificante. Es el arrepentimiento como la apertura del coraz\u00f3n, sin ego\u00edsmo, al amor divino.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Este es el esp\u00edritu del arrepentimiento cuaresmal.
