Una contemplaci\u00f3n de David<\/strong><\/p>

\u201cContemplaci\u00f3n: Un pensamiento reflexivo profundo.\u201d<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Bienaventurado aquel cuya transgresi\u00f3n es perdonada, cuyo pecado es cubierto. Bienaventurado el hombre a quien el Se\u00f1or no culpa de iniquidad, y en cuyo esp\u00edritu no hay enga\u00f1o.

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>

En mi experiencia de caminar con el Se\u00f1or, he tenido muchos momentos de contemplaci\u00f3n. La Cuaresma es un tiempo para tales contemplaciones. Para ello, necesito tranquilidad. En ese lugar de quietud, mi mente subconsciente y mi mente consciente se fusionan, aparentemente en un solo proceso de pensamiento. Es en esos momentos que encuentro al Esp\u00edritu Santo habl\u00e1ndome profundamente al coraz\u00f3n: momentos de confesi\u00f3n, reflexi\u00f3n, correcci\u00f3n y momentos para escuchar y conocer la voluntad de Dios.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

El mayor de estos momentos de contemplaci\u00f3n es reflexionar sobre mi vida en Cristo Jes\u00fas. Es un examen de mi esp\u00edritu con honestidad \u2014un tiempo de humildad y, a la vez, edificante\u2014, pues deseo agradarle. Miqueas 6:8 resume las expectativas de Dios, de lo que debo ser como cristiano:<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

\u00c9l te ha mostrado, oh mortal, lo que es bueno. \u00bfY qu\u00e9 exige el Se\u00f1or de ti? Actuar con justicia, amar la misericordia y andar humildemente con tu Dios. <\/em><\/p>

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>

En este Salmo de David, escuchamos el clamor de su coraz\u00f3n mientras busca perd\u00f3n. Solo entonces percibimos la alegr\u00eda que emana al encontrar, en el perd\u00f3n de Dios, una dulce liberaci\u00f3n. La profunda reflexi\u00f3n de David, contemplando y afligiendo su pecado, le hizo consciente de su gran necesidad de perd\u00f3n. Porque, como ven, ya sea un pecado profundo en su vida o el pecado que algunos descartan como error humano, ambos son pecados que buscan justificar sus comportamientos.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Los animo a atreverse a encontrar ese lugar tranquilo ante Dios y a contemplar sus palabras y comportamientos. Es humilde, pero al final es gozoso, al purificar sus palabras y pensamientos y sopesar su comportamiento ante un Dios que perdona.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

El crecimiento espiritual comienza o se renueva en esta alegr\u00eda de los pecados perdonados.<\/p>
