Opening Prayer: Psalm 95<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

1<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Come,\u00a0let us sing for joy\u00a0to the\u00a0Lord;
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0let us shout aloud\u00a0to the Rock\u00a0of our salvation.
2<\/sup>\u00a0<\/strong>Let us come before him\u00a0with thanksgiving
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and extol him with music\u00a0and song.<\/em><\/p>

3\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>For the\u00a0Lord\u00a0is the great God,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the great King\u00a0above all gods.
4<\/sup>\u00a0<\/strong>In his hand are the depths of the earth,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and the mountain peaks belong to him.
5<\/sup>\u00a0<\/strong>The sea is his, for he made it,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and his hands formed the dry land.<\/em><\/p>

6<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Come, let us bow down\u00a0in worship,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0let us kneel\u00a0before the\u00a0Lord\u00a0our Maker;
7<\/sup>\u00a0<\/strong>for he is our God
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and we are the people of his pasture,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the flock under his care.<\/em><\/p>

Today, if only you would hear his voice,
8<\/sup>\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cDo not harden your hearts\u00a0as you did at Meribah,[<\/em>a<\/em><\/a>]
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0as you did that day at Massah[<\/em>b<\/em><\/a>]\u00a0in the wilderness,
9<\/sup>\u00a0<\/strong>where your ancestors tested\u00a0me;
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0they tried me, though they had seen what I did.
10<\/sup>\u00a0<\/strong>For forty years\u00a0I was angry with that generation;
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I said, \u2018They are a people whose hearts go astray,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and they have not known my ways.\u2019
11<\/sup>\u00a0<\/strong>So I declared on oath\u00a0in my anger,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u2018They shall never enter my rest.\u2019\u201d<\/em><\/p>
