Opening Prayer: Psalm 75<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

1 <\/sup><\/em><\/strong>We praise you, God,
    we praise you, for your Name is near;
    people tell of your wonderful deeds.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/em><\/p>\n

2 <\/sup><\/em><\/strong>You say, \u201cI choose the appointed time;
    it is I who judge with equity.
3 <\/sup><\/strong>When the earth and all its people quake,
    it is I who hold its pillars firm.[<\/sup><\/em>b<\/sup><\/em><\/a>]<\/sup><\/em>
4 <\/sup><\/strong>To the arrogant I say, \u2018Boast no more,\u2019
    and to the wicked, \u2018Do not lift up your horns.[<\/sup><\/em>c<\/sup><\/em><\/a>]<\/sup><\/em>
5 <\/sup><\/strong>Do not lift your horns against heaven;
    do not speak so defiantly.\u2019\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

6 <\/sup><\/em><\/strong>No one from the east or the west
    or from the desert can exalt themselves.
7 <\/sup><\/strong>It is God who judges:
    He brings one down, he exalts another.
8 <\/sup><\/strong>In the hand of the Lord is a cup
    full of foaming wine mixed with spices;
he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth
    drink it down to its very dregs.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/em><\/p>\n

9 <\/sup><\/em><\/strong>As for me, I will declare this forever;
    I will sing praise to the God of Jacob,
10 <\/sup><\/strong>who says, \u201cI will cut off the horns of all the wicked,
    but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
