Trinity Church of the Nazarene Lead Pastor John Prichard

John Prichard | Lead Pastor

Pastor John, his wife Brenda, and sons Joshua and Benjamin moved to Colorado and joined Trinity’s team in April, 2019 after serving in Nazarene churches in California, Missouri, Oklahoma and West Virginia. He earned his B.S. degree in Biology at West Virginia Tech, his M.A. in Christian Education at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City. He became an Ordained Elder in 2005. His passion is introducing people to the life changing message of Jesus Christ and the joy of living in His love and presence through the Holy Spirit, which is why God’s transforming grace is at the heart of John’s preaching and teaching.
Pastor John has come to feel at home in Colorado where the people of Trinity have become family. Serving among people who love the Lord and want others to know His love is a privilege, and he feels blessed to lead this church as we all grow together in Christ.

Marvin Suyén | Latino Ministry Pastor

Pastor Marvin Suyén Sr., his wife, Cenida, and their sons Marvin Jr. and Allan were called by God to be a part of the Trinity team in June, 2015. He is an Ordained Elder and has his B.A. from Instituto Teologico Nazareno in Guatemala City. He has served God in Guatemala, Belize, Mexico as well as here in the United States. His favorite part of working at Trinity is working in a unified body of believers.

Cenida Suyén | Assistant Latino Ministry Pastor

Pastor Cenida Suyén, her husband, Marvin, and their sons Marvin Jr. and Allan were called by God to be a part of the Trinity team in June, 2015. She is an Ordained Elder and loves being a part of our amazing church family.

Brent Wyss | Worship Pastor

Pastor Brent has been called to be a part of Trinity’s team several times since 1995, and has been leading worship and serving in full time ministry for over 30 years. Pastor Brent and his wife Jolene most recently returned to Trinity in 2018 following a call at Portland First Church of the Nazarene. He has an M.A. in Theology and is an Ordained Elder. Pastor Brent has also served in pastoral care, administration and chaplaincy, including two fire departments, and is currently a chaplain for a local hospice organization. His passion continues to be leading our faithful and gracious congregants in transformative worship that lifts the spirit as we join our hearts together in praise that is focused on the Audience of One.

Mickey Cox Youth Pastor CSTrinity

Mickey Cox | Youth Pastor

Mickey began serving at Trinity in September 2025, joining the church at the same time he stepped into ministry. He brings more than 57 years of experience in youth ministry and is ordained, with a bachelor’s degree in Christian Education and a master’s degree in Spiritual Formation. Mickey feels God has used these years of preparation to equip him well for this season of service.

Mickey’s ministry is guided by Jesus’ words in Mark 10:45, reminding him that Christ came to serve, and that same calling shapes his heart for ministry today. He felt God’s clear leading to serve at Trinity, alongside Pastor John and the rest of the staff. Mickey especially enjoys the sense of community at Trinity and the opportunity to build relationships with students as they grow in their faith.

Kim Davis | Administrative Pastor

Pastor Kim has attended Trinity with her husband Dave, sons Matt and Chris and daughters Lauren, Eliana and Eden since 1997, but followed a call from God and officially joined Trinity’s team in 2011. She has her B.A. in Church Music and Performance, an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, is an Ordained Elder, and is certified in both Soul Care and Enneagram. From her first Sunday visiting, Kim has always felt welcome and at home with Trinity. Her favorite part of working at Trinity has been developing strong and meaningful relationships with both the staff and the congregation.

Brenda Prichard | Children's Director

Brenda, her husband Pastor John, and sons Joshua and Benjamin moved to Colorado and joined Trinity’s team in April, 2019. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. She is also certified in K-12 mild to moderate disabilities (special education). She previously served for 12 years as the Children’s Director at Butler Church of the Nazarene prior to moving to Colorado Springs. She loves the children at Trinity and is thrilled to have the opportunity to working with them.

Elizabeth Clark Nursery Coordinator CSTrinity

Elizabeth Clark | Nursery Director

Elizabeth has been a part of the Trinity family since 2001 and joyfully joined the ministry team in August 2025. She brings over 25 years of experience working with young children, having served as both lead and assistant teacher at multiple preschools.

Elizabeth’s heart for ministry is rooted in her love for the 0–6 age group and her desire to share the love of Jesus with little ones and their families. She treasures the joys of seeing children smile, laugh, hug and begin to understand who Jesus is.

Elaine Plante | Administrative Assistant

Elaine followed God’s direction and joined the Trinity team as their Administrative Assistant in July, 2022. She has a B.S. in Agriculture and an MBA from UCCS. She is so thankful God presented her with this opportunity to work with a team that has provided incredible support and encouragement. She loves that in her position she is a part of the ministry of Trinity where she can meet and interact with the congregation and clearly see that God’s spirit is present and active at Trinity.

Carla Lewis | GriefShare Leader

Carla has been attending Trinity since 2004, and followed God’s direction to join the Trinity team in 2008. She is an Ordained Elder who feels blessed to have such close relationships with other members of the staff at Trinity and to be in a position to encourage grieving hearts.
