WORSHIP

WORSHIP

We are a Great Commission church. As a global community of faith, we are commissioned to TAKE THE GOOD NEWS OF LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST to people everywhere and to spread the message of scriptural holiness across lands.

AGREED STATEMENT OF BELIEF

WE BELIEVE in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

WE BELIEVE that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.

WE BELIEVE that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.

WE BELIEVE that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from sin and now can live a transformed life.

WE BELIEVE that there is a second or continuing work of grace called sanctification subsequent to regeneration. This to happens through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and helps the believer be transformed into the image of Christ and will include the impulse to grow in Christ likeness.

WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.

WE BELIEVE in the grace filled work of two sacraments, Holy Communion (Eucharist) and Holy Baptism.

WE BELIEVE that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

Biblically, praise is expressed in many different ways.  As we gather together it is our love for the Lord that unites us.  While we may use a variety of styles, it is less about being “blended” and more about a convergence of old and new to express the never changing truth that our infinite God knows us personally and desires our worship. It was His idea to begin with.  So our goal is to come, not hiding behind a mask of piety and judgement, but in transparency and freedom to lift up the One who is worthy of our praise.

SERVE

SERVE

Service is a pillar of Trinity Church of the Nazarene.
We have many opportunities for Service to our church, our local community, and beyond.

There are a variety of opportunities to be involved in the worship ministry of Trinity. Instrumentalists, singers, technical areas such as sound and computer support are some of these. Church Work Days are seasonal opportunities to provide extra care to Trinity grounds by yard work, painting and other special projects. Greeter and Information Ministry is a great way to volunteer by meeting and greeting visitors and our church family as they enter to worship. We have other volunteer opportunities as well such as volunteering to help in the Office, in the Nursery, and more!

We have many outreach opportunities for our community, including Trinity Cares. Trinity Cares Food & Clothing Ministry exists to shine God’s light into our world by providing food, clothing, support and love to those facing circumstances beyond their control. If you know of anyone in need of assistance please let them know about our monthly distribution.

Missions is a core aspect of our service and outreach at Trinity. As a Church of the Nazarene congregation, we believe our mission is to bring restoration, share the Gospel, and build sustainability within the global community.
