Walking with Jesus
growing together in faith

Get to Know Trinity

At Trinity we love people. All people! People just like you. We all have a story and each of us feel the need to be heard and be connected. That is what we want to be. A place where each story is valued, and each person is loved. This is how Jesus taught us to live and so as we walk with Jesus this is also how we should live. We accomplish this together. We believe that walking with Jesus is a communal effort and that we learn from one another and are encouraged to grow in faith together. That’s why our vision is to “Walk with Jesus” and “Grow Together in Faith”. We would love for you to join us!

WORSHIP

Biblically, praise is expressed in many different ways.  As we gather together it is our love for the Lord that unites us.  While we may use a variety of styles, it is less about being “blended” and more about a convergence of old and new to express the never changing truth that our infinite God knows us personally and desires our worship. It was His idea to begin with.  So our goal is to come, not hiding behind a mask of piety and judgement, but in transparency and freedom to lift up the One who is worthy of our praise.

BELIEFS

We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.

We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.

We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from sin and now can live a transformed life.

We believe that there is a second or continuing work of grace called sanctification subsequent to regeneration. This too happens through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and helps the believer be transformed into the image of Christ and will include the impulse to grow in Christ’s likeness.

We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.

We believe in the grace filled work of two sacraments, Holy Communion (Eucharist) and Holy Baptism.

We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

LEARN

We believe you never stop learning – especially when it comes to your walk with Jesus. This belief is why we provide Sunday School and Bible Study opportunities for all ages. Kids Connection, Follower Youth, and Adult Sunday School classes as well as kid, teens, and adult studies and activities throughout the week. We want to promote an community where every age group has an opportunity to grow in their faith.

COMMUNITY

We believe that the Church is meant to be lived out together in community. We were not meant to live our faith alone. Together is a powerful thing and we are at our best when we live life together. Our church family represents all ages, so we have events and weekly opportunities for our community to come together. We would love for you to join us.

SERVE

We believe we are called to serve. We serve one another and we serve our neighbors. Jesus taught us that we most represent God’s love when we see others as our neighbor no matter who they are (Luke 10:30-37) and reach out to give care, compassion, mercy, and love. We try to live this example here at Trinity by touching lives in our community and around the world.

Father, “SEND ME”

This is the prayer the Church of the Nazarene has prayed from the very beginning as she sends her people into the world. We invite you to learn more about the Church of the Nazarene and our global efforts to pioneer, develop, and resource local, independent, and sustainable Nazarene churches around the world.
